Patients from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany make up most of the documented cases on this website. Here is how the process actually works, including the parts that are usually left out.
First contact costs nothing
Message the clinic describing what you would like to change. Share recent radiographs or photographs if you have them. What comes back should describe what an examination would assess — not a fixed plan, because a plan cannot be made without examining you.
What to share before you travel
Recent radiographs, photographs of your teeth, a list of any medication you take and details of medical conditions that could affect treatment or healing. If you grind your teeth or have had jaw discomfort, say so — it changes what is advisable.
Examination and planning on arrival
The examination and imaging on the first visit establish what is actually possible. The plan is discussed with you before treatment begins, including the parts that are not straightforward and any alternatives worth considering.
Treatment across your visit
Appointments are the fixed points of your stay. Some treatments complete within one visit; implant treatment involves a healing period between stages. Ask directly how many phases your treatment involves before you book travel.
Records to take home
Ask for the details of what was done and which materials were used. Any dentist reviewing your treatment later will need them. Keep them with your own records rather than relying on the clinic’s copy.
Follow-up after you return
Ask how follow-up is handled for your specific treatment and who to contact if something feels wrong. Extensive restorative work and implants both need long-term review — arrange who will carry that out near home.
Four things worth knowing in advance
- Treatment abroad is not automatically faster. Staged treatment is staged wherever it is carried out.
- Leave flexibility in your schedule. An additional appointment sometimes becomes necessary.
- A plan produced without examining you is provisional, however detailed it looks.
- Ask what happens if something needs attention after you get home — before you commit, not after.

Appointments are the fixed points in the schedule. The coast, the harbour and Alanya Castle are all close to the clinic, so free time between visits does not require long journeys.

Daily brushing and cleaning between the teeth, with particular attention to the margin where a restoration meets the tooth. If grinding has been identified, wear the protective appliance you were given. Attend regular professional cleaning and reviews.
Brief sensitivity to temperature and some tenderness around new margins are common. Pain that increases after several days, a bite that feels high, or a restoration that feels loose are not — contact the clinic in those cases.
